Need an idea for that hunk of ginger in your fridge? Try this: peel it, hack it up to garlic clove-sized chunks, stick in a jar with peeled garlic cloves. Cover with honey and refrigerate. In a couple of weeks you’ll have honey that’s infused with garlic&ginger (should be a good fit for e.g. sweet and sour) and some nice garlic&ginger hors d’oeuvres… I hope. Anyway, I’m doing this.
